Áine is an experienced Educational Psychologist, registered with the UK Health and Care Professions Council

Áine completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology in University College Dublin, before obtaining a masters in Trinity College Dublin. Her masters research sought to gain insight into the protective factors for mental health available to Autistic women. She then completed her Doctorate in Educational, Child and Adolescent Psychology in Queens University Belfast

Áine has experience in conducting assessments and therapy with children, young adults and families in a variety of clinical and educational settings in Ireland and the UK. Her therapeutic interests include psychoanalytic, cognitive behavioural and compassion-focused approaches

Aine has lived in Muscat, Oman, and Goa, India, where she trained as a yoga teacher. She adopts a client-led, non-judgemental approach to her work. Working with The Adult Autism Practice, Áine hopes to support individuals to develop a compassionate understanding of themselves and make sense of their lived experiences
