Angelina is a Clinical Psychologist and Chartered member of the Psychological Society of Ireland
Angelina obtained a BA in Psychology from University College Dublin before pursuing an MSc in Foundations of Clinical Psychology at Bangor University, Wales. Angelina then completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Trinity College Dublin. Throughout her doctoral training, Angelina gained experience working across various settings, including adult mental health, child and adolescent mental health and disability services
Angelina is experienced in supporting people experiencing a range of life challenges, including anxiety, low mood, grief and loss, chronic pain, trauma and marginalisation in society. Their therapeutic approach is person-centred, trauma informed and emphasises respect and empathy. Angelina is passionate about creating a safe, non-judgemental space where people feel seen, heard and understood throughout the collaborative journey of Autistic, ADHD or AuDHD identification. They embrace a human rights-based, socially inclusive and neurodiversity-affirmative approach in their work
Angelina is committed to fostering a neuroinclusive culture and is passionate about working with Neurodivergent people, as well as those with diverse gender, sexual and relational identities. Angelina is particularly interested in the intersections of gender identity and neurodivergence, and is deeply engaged — both personally and professionally — in people’s experiences of being Neurodivergent
Angelina enjoys working within a team guided by the Autistic voice and the neurodiversity paradigm, where strengths are emphasised and differences celebrated. She feels privileged to work alongside people in exploring and discovering their potential Autistic and/or ADHD identity
