Charlotte is a Chartered Senior Clinical Psychologist with over 17 years of experience working with ADHD and Autistic adults and children
With a love of literature, Charlotte completed her first degree in English and Irish Literature at Trinity College Dublin. She then undertook her conversion course to psychology and MSc in Child Development at University College London. She developed an interest in neurology and brain diversity during these studies and went on to work at the first ever UK National Specialist clinic for ADHD and Autistic adults in the UK
Since completing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Charlotte has been passionate about understanding ADHD and the Autistic experience in a Neuroaffirmative way. She has had the privilege of collaborating with many neurodivergent clients and colleagues to identify their Autism and ADHD both in and out of the workplace. She was the in-house Neurodiversity Specialist Clinical Psychologist for the British Government and collaborated with Neurodivergent colleagues to write their Neurodiversity strategy and implement it across different government departments. She is delighted to be part of The Adult Autism Practice where she can continue to learn and collaborate with Autistic and ADHD adults through their identification journeys
