Louise is a Senior Counselling Psychologist, Clinical Supervisor and Chartered member of the Psychological Society of Ireland
Originally from Zimbabwe, Louise has made Dublin her home these past 21 years. She studied English Literature, worked and travelled before becoming interested in psychology, completing her doctoral training in Trinity College in 2012. With over 10 years’ clinical experience, Louise has counselled adults, teens and children experiencing various difficulties (e.g., anxiety, panic, depression, personal and relational issues) across a range of settings, including private practice, schools, university, the HSE and voluntary organisations. She currently runs a successful private practice in Dublin 2. In addition to conducting assessments for The Adult Autism Practice, Louise also specialises in the areas of trauma, grief and grief after suicide
Her clinical approach is integrative and inclusive, welcoming everyone no matter their presenting issue or background. She embraces equality, diversity and non-discrimination as her core values and often works with neurodivergent clients, as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ community one-to-one.
