Aoife is a Clinical Psychologist and Graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland
Aoife’s studies began at University College Cork where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology. She obtained her Master’s degree in Psychological Science at the University of Limerick and completed her Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at University College Dublin
Aoife has experience working in child and adolescent services, adult mental health teams, disability network teams, university counselling services and in various hospital and neuropsychology settings. She has worked with diverse populations, including adults, children and families facing challenging life events and psychological difficulties, and has experience supporting neurodivergent individuals in various settings
Aoife believes in the importance of building a meaningful therapeutic alliance and her work is built upon person-centred and integrative approaches. Aoife is passionate about working within a neurodiversity-affirmative and strengths-based approach, and works to create a safe and supportive space where clients can embark on a journey of exploration and self-expression
