Laura is a Clinical Psychologist and Graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland
Laura is currently working in primary care child and adolescent psychology. Over the last eight years, Laura has developed a wide range of clinical experience, working across adult mental health, child and adolescent mental health, older adult mental health, perinatal mental health, and disability services
Laura completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Limerick. She obtained a Master’s in Child and Adolescent Psychology from Leiden University, the Netherlands, and completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at University College Cork. Laura’s doctoral thesis focused on the experiences of Autistic adults accessing maternity care and mental health services. This experience of collaborative research strengthened Laura’s belief in the need for more understanding of neurodiversity within health services and systems
Laura is committed to working collaboratively within a neuro-affirmative framework to support clients with the process of self-exploration and identification
