Nancy is a Clinical Psychologist, with therapeutic and Autistic identification experience across a variety of settings (education, charity and NHS), in child and adult services in Canada, the UK and wider Europe

Nancy began her studies at the University of Toronto, obtaining a BSc (Hons) Psychology. Following this, she completed an advanced post-graduate diploma in autism and a Masters in Clinical Psychology and Health Services, at Goldsmiths, University of London. Nancy completed her doctorate training at Salomons Institute, Canterbury Christ Church University

Throughout her doctorate training, Nancy completed placements in adult and child mental health services, learning disability services and a specialist placement within an Autistic identification service. Outside of her work with The Adult Autism Practice, Nancy is also currently working within the NHS in a neuroaffirmative Autistic identification service. Nancy is passionate about research and amplifying Autistic voices. To date, her research has focused on Autistic women’s voices and their experiences of self-compassion. She is currently researching the impact of neuroaffirmative identification on the Autistic community

Nancy aspires to establish a nurturing and secure environment, where individuals can delve into identity exploration. Her vision is characterized by a commitment to a trauma-informed and integrative approach, emphasising the importance of safety and compassion.
