Sarah is a Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of experience of working clinically in the field of mental health
Sarah has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Limerick, a Master of Science in Neuropsychology from Maastricht University, The Netherlands and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Trinity College Dublin. Over the years Sarah has developed a keen interest in all things ‘neuro.’ She has been involved in several research projects in relation to various neurological conditions (e.g. epilepsy and dystonia)
Sarah has worked in a variety of clinical setting including a support service for Autistic persons, HSE Adult Mental Health Services, HSE Children and Adolescent services, HSE Child and Adult Disability services. Sarah also completed a specialist placement in the HSE Eating Disorder Programme for adults and in the Neuropsychology Service in St. Vincent’s University Hospital. In addition to her work with The Adult Autism Practice, Sarah also works as Clinical Psychologist in a neuropsychology service in the public sector
Sarah endeavours to develop an open and respectful relationship with each and every client, so that each client feels safe and understood. Sarah is mindful of the importance and value of conducting a collaborative and supportive neuroaffirmative assessment, in line with best practice guidelines, where people feel comfortable, supported and their strengths celebrated
