Over the course of this time, Shaun has gained valuable experience working with people experiencing a range of different psychological difficulties. He has a particular interest in working with trauma and always tries to meet each client where they at, in order to foster a space that feels comfortable, safe and accepting. His therapeutic approach is grounded in a person-centred way that encourages empathy and respect when exploring an individual’s Autistic/ADHD identity. Shaun feels it is a privilege to have the opportunity to support individuals in their Autistic/ADHD identification process and as such, he is committed to the neurodiversity-affirmative approach delivered by The Adult Autism Practice and strongly supports empowering and recognizing individuals’ strengths and differences.
